GO TO THE PHOTOS

My mother used to buy photographs of other peoples' families at garage sales. We had framed portraits of unknown bearded old men and smiling groups of strangers scattered throughout our house while I was growing up. She would call these people our "instant family." All of the photos in this album are of someone's mother and the photographer is her child. That's all I know about these photos and their subjects. Here's to the world's mothers. -AW
