Summer camp, as a rule, is not where kids look their best. Were you allowed to take your best clothes to camp in an effort to impress? I didn't think so. Personally, I was reduced to trudging through camp clad in unflattering yet durable clothes. Oh, the injustice! These days, I am older, wiser and practically free of acne but I still get a little misty when thinking of the missed fashion opportunities of my camp days. I'm not alone in my reminiscence as fashion designers have been celebrating summer camp with lounge wear that begs to be worn beyond the campfire.

While vintage 1950s and 1960s dresses are fine for the fall, summer is all about 1980s camp chic. Think foxy camp counselor, naughty arts and crafts teacher and clothes that can withstand a roll in the hay. We've gathered up the best looking summer camp T-shirts that are a little bit ironic, a little bit nostalgic and anything but dorky.
